Does it have to be the exact food plan given or can you eat whatever you want as long as you don’t exceed 500 calories per day?

Honey, your body needs more than 500 calories per day just to keep your heart beating. You’ll make yourself sick eating so little.

Seriously your body needs way more than 500 calories to function properly. 500 calories means you are throwing your body into starvation mode. That is not good at all.

Just take your ideal weight and calculate that by 10. The number you get should be the amount of calories you should eat daily to get there.

example: ideal weight 120. 120×10=1200

You need to stay away from high fat and high carb items or it wont work…the list is very strict on what you can and can’t eat. Just Google food lists for the hCG diet. Hope that helps and good luck! I just started mine 2 days ago.
